As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Director of Programs for the Cyber Risk & Compliance Sector (CRCS) at Sentar, Inc., Steve oversees portfolios in CMMC, FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and ICS Security, ensuring robust cybersecurity frameworks for government and industry partners. He has successfully guided over 200 organizations in achieving NIST SP 800-171 compliance, solidifying his expertise in CMMC and cybersecurity governance. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) and is certified in CISSP, CCA, CCP, CCSP, CDPSE, CEH, ITIL v3, and PMP.
Beyond his professional roles, Steve is deeply engaged in advancing the cybersecurity community. He has served on the Board of Directors for multiple distinguished non-profit organizations, including the C3PAO Stakeholder Forum Advisory Council, Southeastern Cyber Security Foundation, North Alabama Chapter of ISSA, and Cyber Huntsville. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the National Cyber Summit, the nation’s premier cybersecurity technology conference. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering collaboration and innovation within the cybersecurity ecosystem.
Jaclyn Jones
Cybersecurity and Compliance Champion, Strategist, and Leader.
Jaclyn Jones is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over twelve years of experience in the Information Technology field. She currently serves as the SOC Compliance Lead at MAD Security, where she oversees compliance personnel and projects. Her role includes aligning compliance efforts with SOC operations, conducting gap assessments, and providing expert consulting to guide clients through frameworks such as CMMC and other regulatory standards.
Prior to becoming the SOC Compliance Lead, Jaclyn held key positions at MAD Security including Cybersecurity Consultant and SOC Analyst, where she developed deep expertise in compliance frameworks, incident response planning, continuous monitoring, and security control implementation. Her approach combines analytical rigor with strategic oversight, consistently identifying gaps and strengthening clients' security postures.
Jaclyn holds an impressive array of certifications including CISSP, Certified CMMC Professional (CCP), and CySA+, among others. She holds degrees from Capella University (M.S. in Information Assurance and Security), Western Governors University (B.S. in Information Technology), and the University of North Alabama (B.S. in Computer Science).
Chandler Hall
CMMC Evangelist. Innovator. Entrepreneur.
As a CMMC Evangelist for Sentar, Inc., Chandler has been instrumental in aligning the company’s cybersecurity practices with evolving CMMC standards. Since 2015, he has dedicated significant time to studying and implementing DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST SP 800-171, and CMMC requirements, providing strategic guidance to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
A seasoned innovator and entrepreneur, Chandler has founded five successful start-ups in areas such as network security and IoT and has served on multiple Boards of Directors and Technical Advisors. His cybersecurity journey began in 1983 when he attended the FBI’s first Cybersecurity training class, and he has remained a leader in the field ever since.
Brad Proctor
Cybersecurity Operations and Defense Industry Expert.
As the Director of Operations at MAD Security, Brad leads service delivery and client engagement, focusing on operational excellence and cybersecurity compliance. With over 20 years in IT and cybersecurity, Brad brings deep experience from roles as a vCISO, Cyber Risk and Compliance Lead, and former IT Manager for a defense contractor.
He has led CMMC readiness efforts, managed complex IT environments in the MSP space, and guided defense contractors through technical compliance implementations. Brad holds a CISSP, is a Cyber AB Registered Practitioner, and carries multiple certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, and Apple.
Brad’s leadership bridges technical execution and regulatory strategy, helping organizations strengthen their security posture while meeting ever-evolving compliance demands across the defense industrial base.
